Connor Streng

About Me

Born and raised in North Carolina, I moved to Spain when I was 22 to teach English and study Spanish. After 2 years in Spain, I made my way to the Netherlands where I learned to program (thanks to the generous souls at The Odin Project ) and worked as a Frontend Developer. After a total of 8 years abroad, I recently moved back to the United States to start my next chapter.

Experience & Tools

I’ve worked professionally as a frontend developer for 4.5 years, building modern web applications with TypeScript, React, and Vue. I’ve led frontend teams, collaborated closely with design and product, and shipped user-facing features at scale.

I enjoy collaborating with, learning from, and teaching colleagues.

Tools & tech I’ve worked with include: React, Next, Vue 2/3, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Framer Motion, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, AWS.

Outside of Work

I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, paddle boarding, and trying new things. I recently walked three weeks of the Camino de Santiago, tried kite surfing in Tarifa, and built a sleeping platform in the back of my car. 🤙
